The business of Cloud Consulting consists of the provision of consulting services, with a view to partnering with clients in various areas:
Technology transfer and innovation promotion: CLOUD acts as an intermediary between the world of research and the industrial sector in order to allow a clear and effectiveunderstanding of the economic, technical and related financial exploitation of the results of applied research. This is done using a model consisting of three phases:
- finding sources of funding related to the Research and Technology Transfer at both Community and national level and local level;
- coordination and drafting of the identified projects;
- support to project management for both the operational and the financial side, both in terms of technical matters and accounting.
Technology scouting: CLOUD assists companies in finding new and innovative technologies for the markets. CLOUD assesses their potential and links its customers with Research Centers and Universities, technical and institutional working groups, associations with which it collaborates.
Technological and structural assessment: CLOUD aims to assist companies in the creation of a process aimed for selecting a company “innovation process” that can find its application in the definition of industrial strategies in the short, medium and long term. In detail, CLOUD works to:
- make business unit assessment in order to identify correlations that determine the activities and identify the most critical processes, control points and areas for improvement, using the tools of the due diligence and gap analysis;
- analyze the consistency of business with the demand from the domestic and international markets in order to identify the technological potential that can be expressed in terms of lines of adjustment and recalibration, research and product development;
- analyze the consistency of activities with the stream of innovation at national and international level: the analysis of coherence between the activities carried out by the customer and innovation trends nationally and internationally, focused to the identification of the lines of concessional financing best suited for the development of the product portfolio of the customer.
Plans for regional research and development for government agencies: CLOUD assists the Local Authorities and the PA to network knowledge, information and data to support the process of policy formulation and development of the programming of EU and national funds, up to declination and realization of the same in design specifications.
